About the Role
You will lead the integration of autonomy software onto next-generation aircraft platforms from concept through production and operational deployment. You will align hardware and software activities, manage plans, budgets, risks, milestones, and readiness reviews, coordinate lab and flight-test integration, track program outcomes, and support proposals and customer engagements.
Requirements
- Minimum 10 years of related experience with a bachelor's degree, 9 years with a master's degree, 7 years with a PhD, or equivalent work experience
- Experience leading complex cross-functional engineering programs from concept through production and operational deployment
- Technical understanding of software-enabled systems, autonomy, aerospace systems, or complex integrated products
- Experience managing scope, schedule, budget, risk, and technical performance
- Experience with Program Management Reviews, gate reviews, and estimates
- Communication and stakeholder-management skills
- Analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Responsibilities
- Lead autonomy software integration programs for next-generation aircraft platforms
- Align aircraft engineering, autonomy software, manufacturing, lab, and flight-test activities
- Define program objectives with product, engineering, operations, and executive stakeholders
- Own integrated project plans, including scope, schedules, milestones, dependencies, budgets, and resources
- Manage technical risks, costs, schedules, and customer priorities
- Coordinate system integration across labs, ground tests, and flight tests
- Conduct critical-path analyses and support gate reviews, PMRs, and EACs
- Facilitate meetings and track actions, status, priorities, risks, and technical challenges
- Develop and refine technical and operational documentation
- Track and report program financials, resources, schedules, integration status, and customer deliverables
- Support proposals, RFIs, RFPs, technical evaluations, and customer engagements
