About the Role

You'll drive adoption of Walrus across the AI ecosystem in a frontline partnerships role. You'll build new relationships, structure and negotiate complex deals, and develop deep expertise in our products and target markets. Working closely with the Head of Partnerships, you'll execute by finding the right partners and closing deals across both web3 native and enterprise markets, then manage the outcomes through to integration.

Requirements

  • 8-10 years of experience in Partnerships or Business Development in Data Infrastructure, Artificial Intelligence, or Information Technology
  • Working knowledge of Web3 business models and curiosity about the intersection of AI and Blockchains
  • Ability to understand complex technical models, architectures, and agentic workflows
  • Proven track record of constructing business relationships that don't follow a template
  • Ability to travel 20% or more of the time, often internationally

Responsibilities

  • Identify, engage, and foster relationships with key industry players such as AI Builders, Data Vendors, Compute Networks, Agentic Frameworks, Coding Platforms, and Web3 ecosystems
  • Cultivate and manage a robust pipeline of partnership opportunities
  • Identify critical external data points to help leadership develop a cohesive strategy across Partnerships, Product, and Marketing
  • Lead intricate negotiations and contract discussions with potential partners
  • Draft and finalize partnership agreements, addressing critical terms and conditions
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal stakeholders
  • Own deals from contract signing through to integration and beyond
