About the Role
This role will build Adyen's agentic commerce commercial playbook, moving the offering from pilot to scale while connecting enterprise merchants with AI platforms and enabling instant checkout use cases.
Requirements
- 6-8 years of experience in commercial-facing or go-to-market strategy roles
- Experience navigating complex enterprise organizations
- Experience driving strategic commercial initiatives
- Understanding of the payments stack
- Ability to explain network tokens and virtual cards
- Ability to debate API schemas
- Knowledge of agentic systems and AI agent transactions
- Familiarity with emerging agent protocols is a plus
- Payments or financial technology experience is a plus
Responsibilities
- Define the go-to-market playbook for agentic commerce
- Identify first-mover merchants and structure the commercial approach
- Create feedback loops between the market and product teams
- Advise C-level stakeholders at enterprise merchants
- Explain infrastructure risks including fraud and identity
- Architect merchant data feeds for the agentic economy
- Connect merchants with major AI platforms
- Train sales and account management teams on tokens, LLMs, and agentic protocols
- Champion merchant control, data privacy, and liability protection
- Secure and manage pilots with US-based AI platforms
- Help enterprise merchants launch instant checkout use cases
