About the Role

You will design, build, and operate distributed services, control planes, and closed-loop remediation systems. You will develop features for observability, energy-aware scheduling, straggler detection, and hardware qualification. You will collaborate with technical partners to align system design with physical infrastructure and establish safety rails for autonomous operations.

Requirements

2+ years of experience building, shipping, and operating backend or infrastructure systems in production
Mastery of state reconciliation, retries, idempotency, consistency tradeoffs, and autonomous automation
Systems programming skills in Go, Rust, or C++
Ability to design and drive features from concept to production
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline

Responsibilities

Design, build, and operate distributed services and control planes
Build closed-loop remediation systems that drain, checkpoint, replace, and resume AI workloads
Review architectures and establish safety rails for autonomous operations
Collaborate with hardware, energy, data-center, and customer-support partners
Develop unified observability pipelines
Develop energy-aware compute scheduling
Develop straggler detection and self-qualifying hardware pipelines
