About the Role
You will develop, refine, and maintain portfolio-construction models. You will analyze large and unconventional datasets, test market patterns, backtest financial signals, and implement models in live trading. You will research quantitative-finance approaches and help launch investment products while supporting legal and compliance reviews.
Requirements
- 5+ years of quantitative research, quantitative portfolio construction, or machine learning experience
- Experience deploying machine learning models, research, or quantitative signals to a live investing or production environment
- Proficiency in Python and SQL
- Knowledge of statistics, machine learning algorithms, and pattern recognition
- Ability to communicate complex modeling, statistical, and investment concepts to cross-functional partners
- Ability to work independently and manage ambiguity
Responsibilities
- Develop, refine, and maintain complex portfolio-construction models
- Analyze large and unconventional datasets to identify statistical market patterns and valuation strategies
- Backtest and implement financial models and signals in a live trading environment
- Research quantitative-finance approaches to improve portfolio models
- Partner with product and engineering stakeholders on projects and product launches
- Support legal and compliance reviews and develop policies and procedures for new features or methodology changes
