About the Role

You will lead and optimize manufacturing processes across programs, improving throughput, quality, and cost. You will establish a new jet production line by deploying equipment, tooling, and hardware and software systems. You will work with vendors, integrate new technologies, standardize performance improvements, and mentor engineers and production personnel.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, a related field, or relevant experience
• 7+ years of manufacturing engineering experience in rapid-growth environments
• Experience scaling production processes in a startup or rapid-growth environment
• Knowledge of machining, composites, avionics, or assembly manufacturing processes
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and optimization of manufacturing processes across programs
• Scale the flagship product line while balancing throughput, quality, and cost
• Lead manufacturing engineering for a new production line for a larger jet
• Deploy manufacturing equipment, tooling, and hardware and software systems
• Source and integrate capital equipment, production tools, and automation systems
• Mentor engineers and production personnel
• Standardize and improve manufacturing performance at scale
