About the Role
You will support manufacturing engineers with production and process-improvement work. You will document and improve processes, develop fixtures and tooling, analyze manufacturing data, investigate quality issues, support product introductions, and participate in hands-on builds, testing, troubleshooting, and validation.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in a related engineering discipline
- Interest in manufacturing, production, hardware, robotics, or electromechanical systems
- Ability to work in a hands-on manufacturing environment
- Problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation
- Written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and engineering or productivity tools
Responsibilities
- Support production and process-improvement activities
- Develop and improve manufacturing processes, work instructions, and standard operating procedures
- Design and implement fixtures, tooling, and assembly aids
- Analyze manufacturing data, trends, and bottlenecks
- Participate in root-cause investigations and corrective actions
- Support continuous-improvement initiatives
- Assist with time studies, capacity analysis, and production planning
- Support new product introduction and production transitions
- Participate in builds, testing, troubleshooting, and process validation
- Maintain engineering documentation and communicate project findings
