About the Role
You will define and build production processes for robotic assembly systems from concept through scaled production. You will develop assembly strategies, tooling, fixtures, workflows, documentation, and control plans. You will validate processes on the factory floor, improve manufacturing metrics, and coordinate with vendors and cross-functional partners.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of manufacturing or process engineering experience in a large-volume production environment
- Manufacturing process development
- Tooling and fixture design
- 3D CAD including Solidworks or CATIA
- Process documentation and standardization
- Manufacturing metrics including cycle time, takt time, OEE, and yield
- DFM
- DFA
Responsibilities
- Design and build production processes for autonomous robotic assembly systems
- Develop and optimize assembly lines for throughput, yield, and scalability
- Create process documentation, work instructions, SOPs, and control plans
- Develop tooling and fixtures for efficient assembly
- Validate processes and remove bottlenecks on the shop floor
- Support vendors and contract manufacturers
- Track cycle time, takt time, OEE, and defect rate
- Provide DFM and DFA input
