About the Role

You will own the operational lifecycle of datacenter servers, from provisioning through maintenance and decommissioning. You will build fleet automation and health-tracking tools, establish lifecycle procedures, collaborate on secure trusted-compute standards, and ensure connectivity across datacenter sites.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with server hardware, rack deployment, cabling, troubleshooting, and failure modes at scale
• Understanding of hardware lifecycle management, including asset tracking, provisioning, maintenance scheduling, and decommissioning
• Proficiency in Python, Rust, Go, Java, or another programming language
• Knowledge of cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes, and large-scale cloud providers
• Clear communication and stakeholder consensus-building skills
• Ability to work through ambiguous, complex cross-functional problems
• Willingness to travel occasionally to North American datacenter sites

Responsibilities

• Build automation to support datacenter fleets at scale
• Define and own the server lifecycle strategy from provisioning through decommissioning
• Maintain automation and operational procedures for lifecycle events
• Design and enforce trusted compute standards with Infrastructure Security
• Ensure end-to-end connectivity across sites with the Networking team
• Build and maintain tooling to track machine health, configuration, and operational status
