About the Role
You will design and architect new and existing systems, deliver high-quality software, and establish engineering best practices. You will define code-review, branching and deployment strategies, review pull requests, lead or mentor colleagues, and communicate technical information to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Requirements
- Have expertise in relevant software engineering frameworks and technologies
- Have experience with AWS, Azure and GCP
- Have led Agile project teams
- Have evaluated customer business requirements
- Have delivered high-quality software solutions
- Demonstrate ownership of a technical project or piece of work
- Demonstrate knowledge of several modern languages or frameworks such as Go, Java, JavaScript, Node.js, Python or Rust
- Demonstrate practical application of software engineering principles in a complex technical environment
- Be a British citizen or hold dual British nationality
- Be able to obtain Developed Vetting
- Live within commuting distance of Cheltenham or Manchester
