About the Role

You will design secure factory provisioning stations and build automation that enrolls, flashes, calibrates, tests, and tracks each device. You will connect device and cloud identities, define end-of-line testing, secure contract-manufacturer procedures, and maintain manufacturing chain-of-custody records.

Requirements

• 10+ years of manufacturing engineering and test-tool development experience
• Experience with networking in manufacturing environments
• Experience with secure device provisioning or secure manufacturing processes
• PKI, X.509, mTLS, device authentication, attestation, and AWS Private CA experience
• AWS S3, IAM, ECS, KMS, CloudHSM, and Secrets Manager experience
• End-of-line test frameworks and hardware test fixture experience
• Python or Bash automation skills
• Rust, Bazel, and Systemd skills
• Embedded Linux and NVIDIA Jetson Orin or Thor experience
• Secure manufacturing process design knowledge
• Contract manufacturer quality-gate experience
• Secure boot, TPM, TrustZone, key injection, certificate provisioning, and eFuse programming knowledge

Responsibilities

• Design secure manufacturing provisioning stations
• Build device identity provisioning, enrollment, firmware flashing, calibration, and test automation
• Enroll devices in a registry with OTA and deployment credentials
• Define end-of-line pass and fail criteria
• Translate security requirements into contract-manufacturer procedures
• Maintain device chain-of-custody records
• Collaborate with firmware, cloud, manufacturing, systems, and operations colleagues
