About the Role
You will own technical strategy for complex enterprise opportunities throughout the sales process. You will conduct discovery, design end-to-end API and payment solutions, lead workshops and demonstrations, validate technical risks, support procurement, develop proofs of concept, document implementation handoffs, and mentor other Solutions Engineers.
Requirements
- Significant experience in Solutions Engineering, Sales Engineering, Solutions Architecture, Technical Consulting, or a similar customer-facing technical role
- Knowledge of APIs, webhooks, authentication, data flows, system architecture, and software integrations
- Knowledge of payments infrastructure, payment flows, and fintech ecosystems
- Ability to design and communicate complex end-to-end technical solutions
- Experience managing complex enterprise sales opportunities through technical validation and close
- Ability to identify technical risks, dependencies, and product gaps
- Communication skills for technical and executive stakeholders
- Commercial judgment
- Experience leading technical workshops, architecture discussions, and product demonstrations
- Cross-functional collaboration across Sales, Product, Engineering, Compliance, Security, and Delivery
Responsibilities
- Own technical strategy for strategic enterprise opportunities
- Partner with Sales and Account Management to qualify and progress opportunities
- Lead technical discovery of customer architecture, payment flows, integrations, and requirements
- Design end-to-end solutions using APIs, payment rails, and stablecoin infrastructure
- Translate requirements into solution architectures and implementation approaches
- Lead demonstrations, workshops, architecture sessions, and API discussions
- Identify technical risks, dependencies, product gaps, and implementation constraints
- Lead technical components of procurement, security assessments, due diligence, and questionnaires
- Develop proofs of concept and technical validation exercises
- Partner with Product and Engineering on complex customer use cases
- Define implementation scope, architecture, dependencies, assumptions, and requirements
- Provide documented handoffs to Delivery
- Mentor Solutions Engineers
- Develop reusable solution patterns, technical content, and enablement materials
- Support commercial-team enablement and provide market insights
