About the Role
You will lead technical discovery, demonstrations, and validation activities to show how an AI-powered DevSecOps platform meets technical and business needs. You will own technical evaluations, including solution design, proofs of concept or value, workshops, tenders, audits, and value stream assessments. You will partner with sales on account strategy, advise customers on modern software delivery and cloud practices, build trusted stakeholder relationships, and share customer feedback with internal product, engineering, sales, and marketing stakeholders.
Requirements
- 4+ years of customer-facing technical pre-sales, consulting, or similar experience.
- Knowledge of the end-to-end software development lifecycle, DevSecOps, continuous integration, and continuous deployment workflows.
- Hands-on experience with GitLab or comparable source control, CI/CD, and collaboration platforms.
- Knowledge of cloud computing concepts, deployment, security, and operations options.
- Ability to lead technical evaluations, contribute to tenders or audits, and design and run workshops or value stream assessments.
- Technical communication and presentation skills for practitioner through senior business and technical audiences.
- Ability to build trusted relationships, listen with empathy, and advocate for customers internally.
- Commitment to professional development and learning new technologies.
Responsibilities
- Lead technical discovery, demonstrations, and validation activities across the software development lifecycle.
- Own technical evaluations, including solution design, proof-of-concept and proof-of-value initiatives, workshops, tenders, audits, and value stream assessments.
- Partner with Account Executives and regional sales teams to shape and execute account strategies for acquisition and expansion.
- Build relationships with technical practitioners and business leaders and guide their transformation journeys.
- Advise customers on modern software development, continuous integration, continuous deployment, security, and cloud practices.
- Share customer feedback, use cases, and competitive insights with Product Management, Engineering, Sales, and Marketing.
- Maintain expertise in GitLab, DevSecOps, AI, and cloud technologies and create reusable technical guidance and collateral.
