About the Role
You will ensure continuous 24x7 operation and security of critical infrastructure, oversee day-to-day facility operations, and manage onsite technicians. You will perform and coordinate maintenance, construction, repair, and refurbishment work, implement and enforce policies and procedures, and monitor mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, safety, and waste systems. You will track and review work orders, communicate with internal teams and third-party vendors, obtain and maintain equipment operation certifications, and perform basic network troubleshooting and IT infrastructure tasks. You will regularly use ladders, lifts, power and hand tools, move equipment up to 55 lbs, and travel up to 10% as required.
Requirements
- Technical degree in information technology or equivalent certifications and job experience
- 5+ years of experience in a critical infrastructure environment
- Comfortable working with a team of technicians in a 24x7 operating environment
- Experience with electrical troubleshooting, HVAC, plumbing, construction, security, and fire protection preferred
- Experience with IT infrastructure maintenance desired
Responsibilities
- Oversee personnel hiring, discipline, and performance assessment
- Ensure facility uptime and production targets
- Manage maintenance, construction, repair, and refurbishment operations
- Implement policies and procedures for building and equipment functioning
- Monitor mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, safety, and waste systems
- Track work orders for quality and adherence to service and budget standards
- Obtain and maintain certifications for equipment operation
- Communicate with internal staff and manage vendor relationships
- Use internal software to track, record, and operate hardware
- Perform basic network troubleshooting and installations
- Lift and move equipment up to 55 pounds
