About the Role
You will capture system requirements and support the design and development of architectures spanning perception, autonomy, and mission-level workflows. You will maintain system models, collaborate with technical stakeholders, improve systems engineering processes, and report technical status, risks, and expectations to leadership.
Requirements
- 7+ years of systems engineering or related experience with a Bachelor's degree, 5 years with a Master's degree, or 2 years with a PhD.
- Bachelor's degree in a STEM field.
- Experience with systems engineering practices, including writing, structuring, and verifying requirements.
- Experience with MBSE and system-modeling workflows.
- Experience working on cross-functional technical teams.
- Written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, assembly diagrams, parts lists, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
- Eligibility to obtain an Australian NV1 Secret clearance.
- Ability to access and handle ITAR-controlled and Australian export-controlled technical data.
Responsibilities
- Capture end-to-end system requirements for Hivemind Vision Systems and integrated autonomy solutions.
- Support the design and development of system architectures spanning perception, autonomy, and mission-level workflows.
- Use MBSE tools to document, maintain, and extend architecture models.
- Develop and maintain models using UML, SysML, and UPDM.
- Create SysML models for system decomposition, functional flows, interfaces, and behavior.
- Collaborate with subject-matter experts to improve tooling, automation, and model-to-codebase connections.
- Support the evolution and execution of systems engineering processes.
- Engage with product management, program management, engineering, and business development teams.
- Report status, risks, accomplishments, and expectations to leadership.
