About the Role
You will own defined parts of the Robotaxi architecture. You will turn use cases and operational concepts into requirements and verification-ready specifications, define interfaces and product boundaries with partners, apply architecture to vehicle programs, support technical reviews and bring-up, triage issues, and escalate cross-domain trade-offs.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience with a Robotaxi or production-intent L4 driver-out autonomous system
- Systems engineering experience across vehicle platforms, sensors, compute, embedded software, ADS, safety, offboard services, fleet systems, or operations
- Experience producing functional decomposition, requirements, interfaces, trade studies, and verification intent
- Experience defining system boundaries across organizations
- Vehicle or robotic-system integration experience
- Knowledge of redundancy, degraded operation, minimum-risk manoeuvres, fail-operational behavior, functional safety, SOTIF, and safety-case evidence
- Ability to communicate system designs through documents, diagrams, requirements, and technical reviews
Responsibilities
- Own systems engineering for defined Robotaxi architecture areas
- Translate use cases and constraints into requirements, interfaces, assumptions, and specifications
- Define system and product boundaries with OEM, Tier 1, and Robotaxi operator partners
- Lead technical working sessions and design discussions with partners
- Apply reference architecture to vehicle programs
- Support technical reviews, bring-up planning, issue triage, and design-change analysis
- Escalate cross-domain and cross-program trade-offs
