About the Role
You will develop systems-engineering plans, requirements, architectures, test methods, and verification strategies. You will review engineering artifacts and operational concepts, execute validation activities, and coordinate requirements and interfaces with safety, hardware, and software stakeholders.
Requirements
- BS in Electrical, Aerospace, Systems Engineering, or a related subject
- 6-9 years of systems-engineering experience
- Experience in flight-control-system development with machine learning or autonomy
- Flight-control-system-development experience
- Ability to solve complex architecture and systems-engineering problems
- Experience with requirements-management tools and processes
- Ability to develop system-level requirements, architecture, and interfaces and perform validation and verification
Responsibilities
- Develop systems-engineering plans and processes
- Manage systems-engineering tasks and align engineering disciplines
- Develop subsystem feature and function descriptions
- Develop subsystem-level requirements
- Develop subsystem-level test methods and testing strategies
- Support verification and validation activities
- Review systems-engineering artifacts with customers, suppliers, and regulatory authorities
- Review concepts of operation, architectures, requirements, and interfaces
- Capture, document, and communicate requirements and interfaces with cross-functional teams
