About the Role
You will lead systems-engineering planning, task execution, and verification and validation work. You will review architectures, requirements, interfaces, and operational concepts, lead artifact reviews, and coordinate with safety, hardware, and software stakeholders.
Requirements
- BS in Electrical, Aerospace, Systems Engineering, or a related subject
- 6-9 years of systems-engineering experience
- Experience in flight-control systems with machine learning or autonomy
- Flight-control-system-development experience
- Ability to lead small teams solving complex architecture and systems-engineering problems
- Experience with requirements-management tools and processes
- Ability to develop system-level requirements, architecture, and interfaces and perform validation and verification
Responsibilities
- Lead a small team of systems engineers and deliver systems-engineering work products
- Develop systems-engineering plans and processes
- Manage systems-engineering tasks and align engineering disciplines
- Manage system-level verification and validation activities
- Lead artifact reviews with customers, suppliers, and regulatory authorities
- Review concepts of operation, architectures, requirements, and interfaces
- Capture, document, and communicate requirements and interfaces with cross-functional teams
