About the Role
You will define, integrate, and validate complex defense systems. You will manage requirements, traceability, verification, architecture, risk, technical baselines, reviews, MBSE practices, customer and supplier coordination, and mentorship of systems engineers.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree with ten years of experience, Master’s degree with eight years of experience, or fourteen years of experience in lieu of a degree
- Familiarity with MDA processes, CDRL development, and systems engineering lifecycle standards
- Proficiency with requirements management tools such as DOORS
- Knowledge of the INCOSE SE Handbook and MIL-STD-499
- Experience applying MBSE principles with SysML and Cameo Systems Modeler
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Visio, and Project
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Clearance
- ITAR compliance and U.S. Person eligibility
Responsibilities
- Maintain system, subsystem, and interface requirements and traceability
- Lead system architecture development and validation
- Create and execute system verification and validation plans
- Coordinate with propulsion, software, hardware, GNC, and test teams
- Manage system-level risk identification and mitigation
- Coordinate baseline management, change control, and formal reviews
- Guide SysML modeling standards and digital engineering toolchain alignment
- Serve as a liaison to customer and supplier organizations
- Mentor junior and mid-level systems engineers
