About the Role
You will design and execute tests for robotic components and subsystems. You will build test fixtures, calibrate actuators and sensors, analyze data, document findings, troubleshoot failures, and improve validation processes and automated test setups.
Requirements
- 1–4 years of hands-on experience in robotics testing, hardware validation, mechatronics, electromechanical systems, or a related field
- Experience testing, troubleshooting, or validating mechanical, electrical, or electromechanical systems
- Understanding of electric motors, actuators, sensors, mechanisms, and control systems
- Experience with oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies, force sensors, and data acquisition systems
- Familiarity with test procedures, data collection, performance measurement, and technical reporting
- Understanding of current, velocity, and position control
- Experience with Python, MATLAB, LabVIEW, or similar tools
- Ability to interpret mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and technical documentation
Responsibilities
- Design, plan, and execute test procedures for robotic components
- Build and maintain test fixtures, rigs, and measurement setups
- Perform actuator and sensor calibration
- Characterize actuators and subsystems
- Develop and improve automated test procedures and test setups
- Conduct lifecycle, stress, thermal, endurance, and environmental testing
- Collect, analyze, and interpret test data
- Prepare test reports and validation documentation
- Identify root causes of hardware failures and support design improvements
- Define testable requirements, acceptance criteria, tolerances, and performance metrics
- Support quality inspections, verification, and troubleshooting
- Maintain test documentation, results, and equipment records
- Improve testing automation, repeatability, and validation processes
Benefits
- Complimentary daily lunches, coffee, tea, soft drinks, and snacks
- Potential transition from the fixed-term contract into a permanent full-time position
