- Proficiency in C++ and Python
- Familiarity with real-time operating systems
- Background in robotics motion planning, behavior modeling, decision-making, or autonomous-system design
- Experience with unmanned-system technologies and algorithms
- Experience with AFSIM or NGTS simulation environments
- Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
Responsibilities
- Develop motion planning for unmanned surface and underwater vehicles
- Apply safety constraints for keep-out volumes, vehicles, and depth limitations
- Develop passive and active localization and tracking approaches
- Build autonomy behaviors that provide run-time assurance and COLREGS adherence
- Develop distributed optimization and task-allocation approaches for heterogeneous multi-agent teams
- Develop tested high-performance software modules with clear interfaces
- Collaborate with perception, planning, simulation, hardware, and operational-test teams
- Deploy autonomy capabilities to surface vehicles and support integration events
- Analyze mission logs to verify software performance
