About the Role

You will operate, maintain, and optimize the robotics fleet and AI data-collection system during a permanent night shift. You will prepare systems for experiments, manage datasets, troubleshoot issues, maintain records, coordinate procurement, and improve operational processes.

Requirements

• Practical experience operating robotic systems or automated hardware setups
• Experience with data collection, dataset organization, and data-management workflows for machine learning or robotics
• Hands-on experience with ROS
• Proficiency with Linux-based development and runtime environments

Responsibilities

• Ensure uptime through monitoring, issue response, and preventive maintenance
• Oversee daily operation of robots, sensors, and data pipelines
• Configure and prepare robotic systems for data-collection runs
• Execute and support data-collection experiments
• Manage dataset collection, verification, labelling, and storage
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and system issues
• Maintain equipment, utilization, and performance records
• Coordinate procurement of components and replacements
• Develop and follow operational best practices
• Schedule and prioritize robotics and data-collection resources
• Improve data-collection processes, system stability, documentation, and procedures
