About the Role
You will own end-to-end sourcing and contracting across assigned vendor categories. You will conduct market research, run competitive bids, negotiate complex agreements, and execute contracts. You will partner with business owners and Legal, Tax, Finance, and Risk stakeholders to develop data-driven category strategies, optimize vendor spend, manage risk, and track return on investment.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, vendor and third-party contracting, procurement consulting, procurement program management, or process reengineering within financial services or fintech
- Expert knowledge of contract negotiation dynamics in cloud services, software, and digital marketing
- Ability to independently deliver complex sourcing initiatives
- Fluency using AI, data visualization, and data analysis tools
- Experience incorporating risk and performance management into sourcing and contracting
- Ability to manage multiple projects, establish workflows, and meet deadlines independently
- Ability to work across Legal, Risk, Finance, and business stakeholders
Responsibilities
- Own and execute sourcing and contracting strategies for assigned vendor categories and cost centers
- Conduct market research, identify vendors, run competitive bids, negotiate, select vendors, and execute contracts
- Lead negotiations on complex vendor contracts to deliver savings and reduce risk
- Partner with business owners and senior stakeholders to maximize vendor value
- Collaborate with Legal, Tax, Finance, and Risk partners throughout the sourcing lifecycle
- Use data and metrics to develop category management plans and sourcing strategies
- Use AI-powered automation and analytics to quantify opportunities and track return on investment
- Optimize the vendor footprint, rationalize costs, and influence contract renewals
