About the Role
You will architect and implement secure, reliable, and scalable microservices. You will integrate Web3 and privacy-preserving technologies, define software development lifecycle processes, and build continuous integration, testing, and deployment pipelines. You will develop automated tests, monitor and optimize application performance, provide technical guidance on privacy and security, explain architectural decisions, collaborate across functions, and apply advances in cryptography and distributed systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science mathematics engineering or science
- 5+ years of relevant full stack or backend development experience
- Strong experience with cloud-based software development in microservices environments
- Experience with cryptography techniques
- Experience with service mesh including Istio zero trust architecture and observability
- Experience developing RESTful APIs with frameworks such as FastAPI
- Experience securing APIs with OAuth2 or Auth
- Experience integrating asymmetric or symmetric encryption
- Knowledge of data structures algorithms SQL and NoSQL databases and in-memory data storage
- Knowledge of parallel processing message brokers or distributed task queues
- Working knowledge of Docker containers and Helm charts
- Proficiency in technical documentation
- Previous Agile team leadership is a plus
- Exposure to IETF RFCs blockchain systems or zero-knowledge proofs is a plus
Responsibilities
- Architect and implement secure scalable microservices
- Integrate Web3 and privacy-preserving technologies
- Define and document software development lifecycle processes
- Drive adoption of software development lifecycle processes
- Create and optimize CI/CD automation pipelines
- Develop unit and integration tests
- Monitor troubleshoot and optimize application performance
- Provide technical leadership in privacy and security
- Communicate software designs and technical processes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Apply advances in privacy cryptography and distributed systems
