About the Role

You will own the architecture of secure wallet infrastructure across custody key management transaction signing authorization and recovery. You will design signing systems using technologies such as MPC HSMs secure enclaves and TEEs build wallet systems for multiple account models and define security policies authentication permissions and recovery mechanisms. You will also make foundational architecture decisions and guide systems from first principles through production.

Requirements

• Deep expertise in wallet custody cryptography or security infrastructure
• Strong distributed systems and architecture fundamentals
• Experience designing or building production wallet custody signing or key management systems
• Knowledge of MPC threshold cryptography threshold signatures distributed key generation ECDSA EdDSA and secure multiparty computation
• Experience with HSMs secure enclaves TEEs confidential computing or hardware-backed key isolation
• Understanding of EOAs smart contract wallets account abstraction ERC-4337 transaction orchestration and multichain systems
• Experience designing authentication authorization policy permissions recovery or secrets management systems
• Track record of making architectural decisions in complex distributed systems
• Ability to communicate tradeoffs clearly and own architecture through production

Responsibilities

• Own wallet infrastructure architecture
• Design flexible signing infrastructure for MPC HSMs secure enclaves and TEEs
• Build wallet systems for EOAs smart contract wallets account abstraction ERC-4337 embedded wallets and multichain infrastructure
• Define boundaries between cryptography and wallet orchestration
• Architect key generation storage rotation backup recovery and hardware-backed isolation systems
• Build highly available signing and transaction infrastructure
• Set technical direction for wallet security threat modeling policy engines secrets management authentication and authorization
• Make build-versus-buy decisions across cryptography custody wallet and security infrastructure
