About the Role
You will define architectural direction for enterprise data platforms, APIs, shared services, metadata, configuration, and data models. You will shape AI and unstructured-data capabilities, guide implementations, establish engineering standards, build reusable platform tooling, resolve systemic issues, and mentor engineers and architects.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in data platform architecture data engineering distributed systems or related disciplines
- Experience designing governed platforms for AI and unstructured-data workloads
- Experience with object storage document management metadata retrieval vector or graph technologies security and reliability
- Experience designing high-performance data services and APIs
- Strong knowledge of distributed systems and integration patterns
- Technical fluency in data modeling SQL Python or Java automated testing and CI/CD
- Experience with streaming event-driven architectures and data processing engines
- Architecture leadership across workflow orchestration DataOps release management observability cloud infrastructure and delivery platforms
- Ability to influence stakeholders and communicate complex concepts clearly
- Experience in financial services or another highly regulated industry
Responsibilities
- Define target-state architecture for Aladdin Data platforms and shared services
- Shape platform capabilities for AI and agent-based applications
- Partner with engineering product and operations teams through implementation and rollout
- Drive improvements in availability throughput latency scalability and productivity
- Define reference architectures engineering patterns and technical guardrails
- Establish reusable libraries templates APIs automation and self-service patterns
- Mentor engineers and architects and lead cross-platform initiatives
