About the Role

You will provide strategic HR partnership and advice to senior leaders and managers across North America. You will lead employee-relations matters, workforce and talent planning, organisational design, change initiatives, HR operations, compliance, payroll governance, mobility, wellbeing, Workday HRIS governance, and cross-functional HR projects.

Requirements

  • Progressive HR experience, including significant Senior HRBP or equivalent leadership experience
  • Experience in complex, fast-paced, and matrixed organisations
  • Employee-relations expertise
  • Experience partnering with senior leaders and business heads
  • Experience leading HR initiatives across talent, engagement, performance, and organisational change
  • Knowledge of Canadian and US employment law
  • Experience managing ambiguity, transformation, and change
  • Consulting, facilitation, and coaching skills
  • Ability to manage competing priorities
  • Written and verbal communication skills
  • Regional or global HR agenda experience is strongly preferred

Responsibilities

  • Advise senior leaders and business heads on people decisions, insights, and risks
  • Own the people agenda for assigned business areas
  • Lead complex and high-risk employee-relations matters
  • Coach and challenge leaders to build effective and inclusive teams
  • Partner on organisational design, workforce planning, succession planning, and talent strategies
  • Drive people-related change initiatives
  • Use people data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities
  • Provide functional leadership for HR operations in North America
  • Ensure compliance with Canadian and US employment legislation
  • Lead external stakeholder relationships
  • Lead HR audit, compliance, and due-diligence activities
  • Oversee payroll governance
  • Provide strategic oversight of mobility activities
  • Champion health, safety, and wellbeing initiatives
  • Lead Workday HRIS optimisation, adoption, and governance
  • Lead cross-functional HR projects
  • Translate global HR frameworks into locally effective solutions
  • Provide strategic input into policy design and review
