About the Role
You will lead valuation, total addressable market, market research, and competitive intelligence analyses. You will analyze pricing and packaging, own the long-range financial model, build sophisticated financial models, drive scenario analyses for capital allocation decisions, advise senior leadership, and support operational changes resulting from strategic decisions.
Requirements
- 6–9 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, corporate finance, FP&A, or a similar analytical role
- Strong executive presentation skills
- Investor mindset and ability to synthesize complex business dynamics into investment theses and risk-adjusted recommendations
- Strong business intuition connecting financial outcomes to operational drivers
- Ability to make high-quality decisions with incomplete information
- Entrepreneurial orientation
- Excellent financial modeling skills
- Ability to work with large data sets in Excel and Google Sheets
- Experience at a SaaS, data, or technology company preferred
- Familiarity with blockchain, crypto, or Web3 is a strong plus but not required
Responsibilities
- Lead valuation work, total addressable market analyses, market research, and competitive intelligence analyses
- Analyze pricing and packaging models and influence pricing strategy
- Own and enhance the long-range financial model
- Build dynamic models to evaluate the financial impact of strategic decisions
- Lead sensitivity analyses around macro factors relevant to the blockchain and crypto industry
- Scale the financial model and build it into the planning tool
- Create financial models and drive scenario analyses for capital allocation decisions
- Synthesize scenario outputs into executive-ready narratives and recommendations
- Track post-investment performance against underwriting assumptions
- Advise senior leadership on high-stakes strategic questions
- Assess the operational impacts of strategic work
- Partner with the business to ensure strategic recommendations are operationally feasible
- Assist with implementing operational changes resulting from strategic decisions
