About the Role
You will provide senior oversight for colocation-based data center construction programs and directly supervise construction, preconstruction, scheduling, cost, and EHS leaders. You will own program schedules and budgets, resolve escalated project issues, review contract changes, and lead owner-architect-contractor meetings. You will coordinate resources and vendors across sites, manage program risks, oversee commissioning and closeout, and deliver program updates to leadership and stakeholders.
Requirements
- 10+ years of construction management experience
- 5+ years overseeing data center, mission-critical, or large-scale industrial programs
- Experience managing construction managers, program controls, EHS leaders, and subcontractor teams
- Knowledge of CPM scheduling, budget control, and contract administration
- Proficiency in Procore, Bluebeam Revu, and Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to interpret civil, structural, architectural, and MEP construction documents
- OSHA 30 certification
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to travel between project sites
Responsibilities
- Oversee the construction program and directly supervise program leadership
- Own master program schedules and budgets
- Report program status, risk, and financial performance to leadership
- Resolve escalated schedule, cost, quality, and safety issues
- Review and approve significant change orders, claims, and contract modifications
- Chair owner-architect-contractor meetings and lead key negotiations
- Establish reporting, documentation, and quality standards across sites
- Coordinate cross-project staffing, resources, and vendor allocation
- Oversee commissioning, turnover, and closeout across sites
- Identify and mitigate program-level risks
- Ensure contract, safety, and quality compliance across the project portfolio
