About the Role

Design, build, and scale backend infrastructure supporting trading execution, regulatory reporting, user accounts, and asset custody. Architect distributed systems for high-throughput financial transactions, own service reliability, performance, and security, and maintain CI/CD, monitoring, and observability tooling. Partner with product and compliance teams to deliver regulatory-compliant features and contribute to engineering practices.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of software engineering experience.
  • 4+ years of Java development experience.
  • Experience architecting large-scale complex systems and addressing performance, reliability, and security requirements.
  • Strong knowledge of algorithms, data structures, and concurrency programming.
  • Experience setting up CI/CD pipelines and automated monitoring.
  • Experience with clean coding and TDD.
  • Fluency in English.
  • Proficiency in Rust.
  • Professional experience writing and deploying blockchain smart contracts.

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and scale backend infrastructure for trading execution, regulatory reporting, user accounts, and asset custody.
  • Architect and evolve large-scale distributed systems for high-throughput financial transactions.
  • Own the reliability, performance, and security of core backend services.
  • Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines, automated monitoring, and observability tooling.
  • Partner with product and compliance teams to implement features that meet user and regulatory requirements.
  • Establish and champion clean code, TDD, code review, and documentation practices.
  • Contribute to technical decision-making and shape the engineering culture as the team scales.
