About the Role
You will design, build, and scale backend services supporting quote aggregation, order management, transaction orchestration, and execution tracking. You will integrate DEX protocols, liquidity sources, RPC providers, and indexing services; improve reliability and performance; support blockchain transaction workflows; reconcile on-chain execution; and own features from technical design through post-launch operation.
Requirements
- Have 5+ years of professional backend engineering experience with production-system ownership
- Be proficient in Java and its backend ecosystem
- Understand concurrency, distributed systems, relational databases, caching, and messaging systems
- Have experience building high-availability services and diagnosing production performance or reliability issues
- Understand blockchain transactions, smart contract interactions, and DeFi trading mechanisms
- Be able to drive features from technical design through production deployment
Responsibilities
- Design and develop backend services for quote aggregation, order management, transaction orchestration, and execution tracking
- Integrate DEX protocols, liquidity sources, blockchain RPC providers, and indexing services
- Define order and transaction state models and handle retries, duplicate requests, partial failures, and recovery
- Maintain reliability under high concurrency, traffic spikes, and degraded dependencies
- Implement rate limiting, concurrency controls, resource isolation, and graceful degradation
- Optimize database access, caching, asynchronous processing, and transaction boundaries
- Establish monitoring, alerting, load testing, and incident-response practices
- Handle transaction submission, confirmation tracking, failed transactions, dropped transactions, and chain reorganizations
- Build data synchronization and reconciliation mechanisms
- Own features through implementation, testing, rollout, and post-launch operation
