About the Role
Own and operate Wave's MDM platforms across ChromeOS, macOS, Android, and Linux, including configuration, security policies, deployment automation, device lifecycle management, fleet observability, compliance reporting, vendor relationships, and team mentorship.
Requirements
- 5+ years in endpoint engineering or systems engineering with hands-on ownership of multi-platform fleets at scale
- Strong understanding of endpoint security principles, including EDR, CIS and SOC2 baselines, certificate management, and disk encryption
- Familiarity with SSO, certificate-based authentication, and conditional access policies
- Scripting and automation capability for reliable deployment pipelines
- Fleet reporting and observability experience
- Windows/Intune experience is not required but may be considered applicable
Responsibilities
- Own and operate MDM platforms across ChromeOS, macOS, Android, and Linux environments
- Manage ChromeOS device policy in Google Workspace
- Design and enforce endpoint security policies with Information Security
- Build automated deployment pipelines for OS updates, software distribution, and configuration changes
- Define and manage device lifecycle processes from provisioning through decommissioning
- Establish cross-platform compatibility standards and tooling
- Build tooling and runbooks for Local IT teams
- Own fleet observability, compliance reporting, patch metrics, and audit-ready documentation
- Evaluate and own endpoint tooling vendor relationships
- Mentor junior endpoint and device management team members
