About the Role
You will test new features and releases in local and staging environments by submitting transactions, inspecting API responses, verifying receipts and state changes, and exercising CLI and client workflows. You will reproduce defects, document evidence, confirm fixes, maintain release checklists, and automate recurring end-to-end, browser, smoke, and regression tests.
Requirements
- Bring experience in QA, software testing, release testing, or a similar role
- Create practical manual test cases, reproduce defects, and document issues clearly
- Test APIs, CLIs, backend services, infrastructure, developer tools, or distributed systems
- Use command-line tools, read logs, run scripts, and work in local or staging environments
- Bring experience with automated testing, scripting, smoke testing, regression testing, or end-to-end testing
- Maintain ownership of release quality until behavior is understood
- Bring experience with blockchain, exchange, trading, fintech, database, or distributed systems as an advantage
- Bring experience with Docker, CI, Kubernetes, cloud environments, or API testing tools as an advantage
- Write scripts or tests in Python, TypeScript, Rust, Go, or Bash as an advantage
- Understand wallets, transactions, RPC APIs, validators, smart contracts, or Ethereum-compatible tooling as an advantage
Responsibilities
- Manually test new features and releases before deployment
- Run and test local and staging environments
- Submit transactions and verify API responses, receipts, and state changes
- Test CLI and client workflows
- Create practical test cases and release checklists
- Reproduce defects and verify fixes
- Write detailed bug reports with reproduction steps, expected and actual behavior, logs, and screenshots
- Coordinate defect resolution and production delivery with engineers
- Write automated end-to-end scripts and headless browser tests
- Automate recurring pre-release checks
