About the Role
You will serve as a technical reference for a scalable, high-performance and resilient platform. You will evolve event-driven architecture, integrate large data volumes, promote AI-assisted development, assess the technology stack, support an Angular-to-React migration, improve AWS operations, mentor engineers and own solutions from business problem through production operations.
Requirements
- Have established Java experience; Go experience is desirable.
- Have experience with distributed, scalable and event-driven system architecture.
- Have proven AWS experience with Lambda, ECS, Glue or related services.
- Apply data engineering practices and handle large data volumes.
- Have experience with agile methods, DevOps and pipeline automation.
- Understand SRE, observability and resilience practices.
- Have front-end development experience with Angular or React.
- Understand AI-first development, generative AI, autonomous agents such as Devin and AI-assisted development techniques.
- Advanced English is desirable.
- Experience with strategic high-impact projects for large corporations is desirable.
- Experience with data products or personalization and benefits platforms is desirable.
Responsibilities
- Evolve the platform into a scalable, high-performance, resilient and event-driven architecture.
- Apply data engineering practices and integrate information from multiple systems and products.
- Promote AI-first and AI-assisted development practices, including autonomous agents.
- Assess and evolve the Python, Java and Go technology stack.
- Contribute to the front-end migration from Angular to React.
- Improve AWS operations using services such as Lambda, ECS and Glue.
- Solve business problems with high-quality software.
- Participate in architecture decisions focused on solution effectiveness and collective efficiency.
- Lead the adoption of engineering practices, modern architectures and emerging technologies.
- Raise technical standards through mentoring and knowledge sharing.
- Choose tools according to each problem's needs.
- Own solutions from business discovery through implementation and production operations.
