About the Role
You will shape the architecture and technical roadmap for a global multi-tenant SaaS platform. You will design highly scalable distributed systems, improve performance and operational resilience, partner on CI/CD and infrastructure, mentor engineers, lead design reviews and guide AI adoption across products and software development.
Requirements
- 10+ years of software engineering experience
- 4+ years in a Principal or Staff role focused on large-scale SaaS
- Deep expertise in Java and Spring Boot microservices
- Experience with JVM tuning asynchronous programming connection pooling cache management and REST API design
- Strong understanding of Apache Kafka and event-driven architecture
- Hands-on experience with LDAP and OpenSearch
- Strong AWS application design and operations experience
- Working knowledge of React.js
- Experience designing resilient highly available multi-tenant distributed systems
- Experience with observability and operational excellence
- IAM knowledge including OAuth 2.0 OpenID Connect SCIM and SAML
- Identity lifecycle management knowledge
- Kubernetes and container orchestration experience preferred
- Experience with enterprise SaaS platforms and security and compliance requirements preferred
- BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the technical vision for multi-tenant service architecture
- Design distributed systems for global scale and low latency
- Partner with SRE and DevOps to improve CI/CD automated scaling and self-healing infrastructure
- Mentor senior engineering staff
- Lead rigorous design reviews
- Promote high-quality maintainable code
- Lead AI adoption across product capabilities and the software development lifecycle
