About the Role

You will act as a practical legal partner to commercial stakeholders. You will draft, review, and negotiate strategic agreements; advise on contractual and regulatory risks; develop templates and scalable workflows; train business teams; manage outside counsel; and support strategic transactions.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a legal partner to business development, partnerships, marketing, operations, and commercial teams
  • Draft, review, and negotiate strategic partnership, distribution, technology, licensing, vendor, service, referral, marketing, data, and confidentiality agreements
  • Lead commercial negotiations through structuring, execution, and renewal
  • Advise stakeholders on contractual, regulatory, reputational, and counterparty risks
  • Support commercial relationships with financial institutions, fintech companies, blockchain protocols, exchanges, wallets, custodians, market makers, and technology providers
  • Advise marketing and business teams on campaigns, communications, public claims, and commercial arrangements
  • Partner with compliance and regulatory counsel on securities, financial promotions, anti-money laundering, data protection, licensing, and geographic restrictions
  • Maintain contract templates, negotiation playbooks, approval processes, and legal workflows
  • Train business teams on contracting, negotiation, and risk management
  • Manage outside counsel and specialist advisers
  • Support senior legal personnel on strategic transactions and business priorities
