About the Role
As a Senior Backend Engineer you will own project scopes and ensure high-quality deliverables. You will define, develop, and maintain deployment processes and tools across IT, OT, and cloud environments, provide ongoing support to improve system health and reliability, and adopt best practices for scalable distributed systems. You will implement and troubleshoot secure, high-performance networking and cryptography features, and lead, guide, and empower others to succeed.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in software development using HTTP/s proxies, Websockets, packet tracing, multi-tier client/server communication
- In-depth understanding of JavaScript execution in modern web browsers and authentication/authorization using JWT, SAML, SSO
- Working knowledge of multithreading programming, inter-process communication, socket programming, high performance and low latency programming
- Knowledgeable in C++, Go, and Java secure coding, vulnerability assessment, and threat analysis
- Hands-on experience with application protocols RDP, VNC, HTTP, SSH and core concepts on authentication, certificates, TLS
- Experience in cryptography, PKI, microservice architecture, large scale infrastructure, reverse proxies, NGINX, SOCKS5, session management with load balancers
- Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills and expert system level skills on Linux (Ubuntu, Alpine, Red Hat) and Docker
- Experience developing NGINX plugins or working with internals would be a plus
- Experience developing applications using the Guacamole framework would be a plus
