About the Role

You will develop runtime-core components and own performance and stability practices. You will build benchmarks and CI regression gates, optimize latency and throughput, improve thread safety and real-time behavior, diagnose field issues across software and hardware, and mentor engineers in performance, concurrency, and troubleshooting.

• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience

Responsibilities

• Own latency, throughput, and jitter improvements for runtime-core components
• Build real-time scheduling, CPU-affinity, allocation, and page-fault practices
• Develop core components and review feature-team contributions
• Build benchmark suites, performance budgets, and CI regression gates
• Establish thread-safety practices and eliminate race conditions
• Test supported devices, load profiles, and deployment topologies
• Improve tracing, structured logging, runtime metrics, and crash handling
• Improve Plugin SDK and C ABI performance and stability
• Investigate field escalations across software, operating-system, network, and hardware boundaries
• Partner on performance-critical design and performance budgets
• Mentor engineers in performance, concurrency, and troubleshooting
