About the Role
You will own the pricing system used across iOS, Android, web, and API products. You will design architecture, build and release features, monitor performance, optimize endpoints and latency, and work with product and frontend partners to deliver user experiences and supporting API documentation.
Requirements
- 5+ years of backend development experience with Django and Django Rest Framework
- Experience with relational databases at scale
- Experience designing schemas, optimizing Django queries, and running low-downtime migrations
- Experience scaling SaaS and subscription management with Stripe or RevenueCat
- Experience with PostgreSQL or MySQL databases larger than 100 GB
- Experience designing endpoints with frontend engineers
- Fluency in English
Responsibilities
- Own the pricing-system architecture and delivery
- Design, code, release, and monitor backend features
- Monitor release performance with Datadog
- Iterate based on product usage and user feedback
- Collaborate with product and frontend partners
- Optimize endpoints, reduce latency, and support scale
- Deliver OpenAPI and developer documentation
