About the Role

You will lead the design and delivery of enterprise integrations across the People Tech ecosystem. You will build Workato automations and API integrations, establish reusable architecture and governance, gather requirements, lead delivery, support critical integrations, and ensure reliability, monitoring, and incident response.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience as an API Developer or Integration Engineer
  • 3+ years of production experience with Workato
  • Experience with Workato recipes, error handling, monitoring, batch processing, custom connectors, SDK development, and API collections
  • Experience integrating enterprise SaaS platforms
  • Expertise in EAI, SOA, and iPaaS architectures
  • Proficiency with REST APIs, webhooks, JSON, XML, OAuth 2.0, SAML, SOAP, RBAC, and API security
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum, Jira/JSM, Confluence, and CI/CD
  • Understanding of HR data models, GDPR, SOC 2, and sensitive PII handling

  • Design and maintain API integrations across enterprise applications
  • Use AI-powered automation to improve workflows
  • Establish integration architecture patterns and governance
  • Gather requirements and lead discovery sessions
  • Lead integration initiatives from concept through deployment
  • Provide escalation support for critical integrations
  • Ensure integration reliability, monitoring, alerting, and incident response
