About the Role
You will configure, develop, and maintain the ServiceNow platform across its applications. You will build custom applications and workflows, create advanced scripts, integrate ServiceNow with other systems, mature the CMDB, manage the service catalog, support platform administration and security, collaborate with stakeholders, document development work, and stay current with ServiceNow capabilities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- 3-5 years or more of ServiceNow development experience
- Hands-on ServiceNow experience with custom applications, Flow Designer, integrations, and scripting
- Experience with GlideRecord, scripted REST APIs, business rules, script includes, and server-side scripting
- Experience with Employee Center, Workspaces, Mobile, and UI Builder
- Proficiency with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and REST API
- Understanding of ITIL concepts and principles
- Experience with CMDB and external data integrations is a bonus
- Experience administering ServiceNow platforms is a bonus
- Experience with ServiceNow AI products and integrations is a bonus
Responsibilities
- Configure and customize the ServiceNow platform
- Create custom applications, forms, workflows, and UI enhancements
- Build and support company-specific functions and workflows
- Use JavaScript and GlideScript to create and optimize business and client scripts
- Integrate ServiceNow with other systems and external data sources
- Mature the corporate-wide CMDB and onboard data through imports and integrations
- Maintain and improve the service catalog
- Administer ServiceNow instances and support upgrades, security monitoring, access controls, role management, and auditing
- Collaborate with developers, system administrators, and business analysts
- Document configurations, customizations, and development work
- Stay current with ServiceNow features and best practices
