About the Role
You will own the front-end architecture, design system, and developer-facing APIs, define platform contracts and operational patterns, guide implementation across web and API services, collaborate with AI and backend teams, and mentor engineers through code and architecture reviews.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in front-end or full-stack architecture
- Experience in enterprise SaaS or developer platform environments
- At least one B2B SaaS exit
- Expertise in React, TypeScript, design system frameworks, and Python
- Experience building and documenting RESTful or GraphQL APIs
- Experience with API versioning and permission models
- Background in event-driven systems or AI-integrated front ends preferred
- Familiarity with modern DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
Responsibilities
- Own the technical design and evolution of the modular web application
- Integrate the web application with back-end services
- Define and enforce API contracts between front-end, agent and LLM systems, and data layers
- Maintain API stability, security, and developer usability
- Implement and maintain a reusable design system
- Define patterns for observability, performance monitoring, and graceful degradation
- Collaborate with AI, backend, and product engineering teams
- Guide engineers through code and architecture reviews
