About the Role

You will lead outbound sales activities in the UK wealth, advice, and retail-investment sector. You will research markets, build and manage a qualified pipeline, engage prospects, attend industry events, deliver tailored pitches and demos, manage deals through closure, and report sales performance.

Requirements

  • Success building stakeholder relationships that lead to commercial opportunities
  • Track record of identifying and capitalising on sales opportunities
  • Understanding of UK market and regulatory principles and rules
  • Advanced communication and influencing skills
  • At least 10 years of outbound sales or business development experience
  • Financial services experience preferred
  • Lead generation experience through networking and market engagement
  • Familiarity with financial services, digital payments, open banking, or embedded finance

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities
  • Conduct market research on trends, target segments, and FinTech needs
  • Develop and maintain a qualified lead pipeline using CRM tools and outbound strategies
  • Build relationships with investment professionals and prospects
  • Attend conferences, trade shows, and networking events
  • Represent the company to prospective clients and partners
  • Develop knowledge of the regional business and competitor landscape
  • Manage the full sales cycle from outreach to deal closure
  • Deliver tailored pitches and product demonstrations
  • Collaborate on client onboarding and satisfaction
  • Track and report lead generation, conversion, and sales performance
  • Maintain accurate CRM records
  • Provide market insights for product development and marketing
