About the Role
You will design and deliver comprehensive safety training for employees, contractors, and supervisors. You will identify training gaps and hazards, maintain compliance records, incorporate training into operational changes, and use audits, observations, quizzes, metrics, and incident learnings to improve training effectiveness.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, safety, environmental science, or a related field
- 8+ years of safety training experience in heavy manufacturing, industrial operations, or a similar high-hazard environment
- Expert knowledge of OSHA, NFPA, ANSI, ISO, IEC, UL, and EPA standards and regulations
- Experience delivering safety training to frontline workers, supervisors, and technical staff
- Curriculum design and training-module development skills
- Training management system and digital recordkeeping proficiency
- OSHA 30, OSHA 500/501 trainer authorization, CST, CET, or a relevant safety credential
Responsibilities
