About the Role

You will own reliability and manufacturing testing from NPI through mass production. You will write test protocols and specifications, build and deploy fixtures and test software, run environmental and life tests, analyze data, lead root-cause investigations, and implement testing with contract manufacturers and suppliers.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline
• At least 5 years of reliability and test engineering experience in a hardware product environment
• Python or equivalent test automation and data analysis experience
• Test protocol, SOP, specification, and report writing
• Reliability lab equipment experience
• Contract manufacturer and supplier test implementation experience
• Statistical analysis including Cpk, Gauge R&R, DOE, AQL, and Weibull
• Knowledge of MIL-STD-810, IEC 60068, HALT, and HASS
• SolidWorks or equivalent CAD experience
• LabVIEW proficiency is preferred
• Ability to work in the NYC office 3 days per week
• Ability to travel internationally

Responsibilities

• Own reliability and manufacturing test programs through NPI and mass production
• Write test SOPs, protocols, and specifications
• Manage test fixture development and testing across facilities
• Maintain and develop the reliability lab
• Plan and execute environmental and life testing
• Deploy manufacturing tests and scripts at contract manufacturers and suppliers
• Lead failure analysis and corrective actions
• Analyze test data and report results
• Travel internationally to contract manufacturer and supplier sites
