About the Role
You will define and execute qualification plans for AI accelerator systems, lead stress and reliability testing, validate signal and power integrity, and drive root-cause failure analysis. You will oversee interconnect qualification, work with design, thermal, and firmware specialists on hardware fixes, and align manufacturers on testing methods and quality limits.
Requirements
- BS or MS in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Reliability Engineering
- 12+ years of hardware qualification or reliability experience
- High-performance computing, server, or networking hardware experience
- JEDEC knowledge
- IPC knowledge
- Telcordia knowledge
- High-speed oscilloscope experience
- Logic analyzer experience
- Environmental chamber experience
- Weibull analysis
- Design of experiments
- JMP or Minitab
Responsibilities
- Define and execute hardware qualification plans for AI accelerator systems
- Lead HALT/HASS, thermal cycling, humidity, and vibration testing
- Oversee signal and power integrity validation
- Drive root-cause analysis for system-level failures
- Oversee qualification of high-bandwidth interconnects and PCIe link stability
- Implement hardware fixes with design, thermal, and firmware teams
- Align contract manufacturers and JDMs on test methodologies and outgoing quality limits
