About the Role
You will lead and scale robot operations, manage continuous shift coverage, and help ensure reliable robot performance. You will train operators, oversee scheduling, drive issue reporting and escalation, partner with engineering on troubleshooting, track metrics, and support hands-on robot operation when needed.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience leading frontline or technical operations teams in a fast-paced environment
- Problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Experience operating and troubleshooting hardware, robotics, or mechanical systems
- Communication and organizational skills
- Experience managing shift-based operations and competing priorities
- Ability to work hands-on with humanoid hardware and stand for extended periods
- Ability to thrive in a rapidly evolving environment
- Availability for immediate travel as operational needs arise
Responsibilities
- Build, train, and lead the Robot Operator team
- Manage 24/7 robot operations and customer-use-case execution
- Oversee shift scheduling, frontline operations, and weekend coverage
- Ensure operators identify, document, and escalate issues through Jira
- Partner with engineering teams to troubleshoot operational and robot-performance issues
- Track operational metrics and drive process improvements
- Develop onboarding and training programs for operators
- Promote safety, accountability, and operational discipline
- Support hands-on robot operation and troubleshooting
