About the Role
You will investigate complex field issues using logs, telemetry, and system diagnostics. You will build fleet monitoring, automation, dashboards, and configuration-management processes, coordinate with engineering and operations, and support customer sites from surveys through the start of autonomous tractor operations.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in robotics operations, system integration, systems engineering, or a similar field
- Troubleshooting skills across hardware, firmware, and software layers
- Proficiency in Python, Bash, and data or log analysis tools
- Experience with Linux-based systems, Docker, AWS, or GCP
- Experience with Grafana, Prometheus, or equivalent monitoring platforms
- Familiarity with configuration management systems and OTA update strategies
- Communication and coordination skills across technical and non-technical teams
- Track record of enabling customers of autonomous technologies
- Willingness to work on customer schedules and at customer locations when necessary
Responsibilities
- Conduct root-cause analysis of complex field issues using logs, telemetry, and system-level diagnostics
- Design and maintain monitoring infrastructure to detect anomalies and maintain fleet health
- Develop automation tools and scripts for triage, updates, and reporting
- Manage fleet configuration, including firmware, parameters, and feature flags
- Collaborate with engineering and operations to resolve recurring issues and improve product robustness
- Define KPIs and build dashboards for operational visibility and performance tracking
- Lead new site standup from site surveys through autonomous tractor delivery and operational launch
- Improve the user experience across technology and documentation
