About the Role
You will lead Fleet Tech leads and technicians across customer sites, setting staffing, rotations, and travel. You will establish troubleshooting standards, provide direct contracted cell staffing, hire and certify technicians, and coordinate with customer, maintenance, and engineering stakeholders. You will report uptime, response-time, and repeat-issue metrics.
Requirements
- 7+ years of field service or manufacturing operations experience for automation equipment
- 3+ years managing distributed technician teams
- Knowledge of robotic cell operation and troubleshooting
- Experience scaling teams through hiring pipelines, certification programs, and multi-site scheduling
- Ability to handle in-person plant-manager escalations
- Experience operating in a fast-growing organization
Responsibilities
- Lead Fleet Tech leads and set staffing, rotations, and travel across customer sites
- Own on-floor troubleshooting standards and escalation to Mission Control or Engineering
- Staff contracted robotic cells directly when needed
- Hire, onboard, and certify Fleet Techs
- Define the skills ladder from Fleet Tech to Lead
- Partner with customer success and fleet maintenance stakeholders
- Report uptime, response-time, and repeat-issue metrics
