About the Role
You will own the safe, reliable operation of the Bristol electronics laboratories. You will manage lab equipment, infrastructure, ESD controls, goods movement, maintenance planning, and technical readiness. You will lead technicians, coordinate lab requirements, and maintain dependable environments for engineering and operations work.
Requirements
- Technical understanding of electronic test equipment, laboratory infrastructure, setup, calibration, and troubleshooting
- Knowledge of ESD prevention, control systems, audits, and training
- Understanding of health and safety requirements in electronics laboratory environments
- Ability to work with engineering teams on technical laboratory setups
- Experience coordinating subcontractors
- Leadership skills to manage and mentor technicians
Responsibilities
- Manage electronics test equipment and laboratory infrastructure
- Maintain ESD controls and laboratory safety standards
- Coordinate goods in and out and maintenance planning
- Plan, configure, and support technical laboratory setups
- Coordinate subcontractors for maintenance, calibration, upgrades, and specialist services
- Build, manage, and mentor a team of technicians
